Over the past months Leicestershire LINk has been holding a number of consultations around the county to gain opinions and views of local people, voluntary groups and service and care providers. At the same time we have been listening to the views of our members.

The result of this work has created a number of project groups which have become active and started to do the real work of the LINk, making positive and real changes to health and social care services.

One wide reaching area of importance identified is that of Mental Health where we see a number of concerns and issues affecting individuals and groups across the board.

In response to this we, at the Leicestershire LINk have moved to create a project group whose role is to listen to ongoing concerns and form task groups to tackle issues.
